Due out in April is the 5 inch version of the popular River2Sea Kong. I got my hands on this bait for you guys a month before its due on store shelves. For those who are unable to throw the 9" or 6 5/8" versions, this one may be right up you alley. For those who are new to the Kong series, this version of the jointed swimbait will be nothing new. It's still a hard bodied swimbait, with the same paint schemes as its bigger brothers (9" and 6 5/8" to be exact). The fins on this bait are made of a bendable hard plastic, and the three piece body is held together by the pin and tenon hinge system.
Baby Bass color scheme.
The stock hooks areĀ Daiichi (BN) X Strong. No need to change these out, unless you have something against beastly sharp hooks. The weight of this 5" swimbait is 1 3/8oz, or 39 grams, so its light enough to throw on a smaller swimbait rod.
Attention to detail on the eyes and mouth

3 piece body, 2 sets of premium hooks.
Weighing in at 1 and 3/8 oz, 39 grams
