Bassaholics Clothing Review

What started as a passion, ended up turning into a business for Bassaholics owner Dan Norman. Based out of California, home to some of the biggest bass in the country, Bassaholics produces lifestyle apparel for hardcore anglers and swimbait lovers.

So, “how can I rock some of this cool gear”, you ask? Well, if you live in California, you are lucky, and can find Bassaholics at pretty much any tackle retailer. Bassaholics also serves 22 other states, as well as online retailers such as Tackle Warehouse , Bass Tackle Depot , Fisherman’s Warehouse, USAC Proshop , and of course the Bassaholics website.

Quality: If you’re worried about sizing, the Medium fit me perfectly. I’m 5’9″ and 175lbs. Normally Medium is what I wear, but I’m one of those people who is in between sizes of medium and large. The shirt sizes run a little big, but it worked in my favor. This is something to consider when ordering. Being pre-shrunk also helps.

They’re made of heavier 100% cotton, which really shines when you get a hook lodged. For men, shirt sizes run from Small all the way up to XXXL for you gentle giants. For women, small to extra large sizes are available in both baby doll tshirts and tank tops (shown below).

Performance: Spending a day on the lake, or at the mall, you know this clothing is stylish. The thick cotton keeps you warm, whether you wear it under a jacket or not. The beanies will keep you out in the cold weather longer and help fight a tough wind at the same time.

Application: I don’t think there’s much else to say. Their clothing is bold and trendy. Its even camera friendly when you get to share those huge lunkers we work so hard for. They have apparel to fit pretty much any occasion except for maybe the occasional winter Alaskan outing.

It should also be mentioned that at the time of press, the crew released about 4 new shirt designs as well as some new hats to the arsenal. This brings a total of 25 t-shirt choices, and 15 long sleeve variations to the lineup. Congratulations guys!

Update: As of March 2010, the list of items was in the hundreds, with dozens of new products coming out every month or two.
